In a Few Words
Outdoor lovers' paradise! Bike, Hike, Ski and more... We are located steps away from Ptit Train du Nord, le Parc Régional Val David Val Morin and a short drive from many alpine ski hills.
Included 4-season access to regional park trails for sports and activities. Heated pool in summer (shared). Private hot tub.
We are PET FRIENDLY: if you are very allergic, scared or dont like them, we might not be the perfect spot for you.
About this property
This chalet is equipped with everything you need to feel right at home (dishwasher, wood burning fireplace, high-speed wifi, cable, etc).
It is the entire upper level unit of a big duplex (it can be rented together) and features 2 very large bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite. There are 3 full bathrooms in total, a large kitchen and a beautiful stone fireplace (wood burning). There is a 3-season sun-room off the dining area with beautiful stream views.
Sound-proofing is very good between the 2 floors, but NOT appropriate for parties/loud music.
The units may be rented separately or together for a larger group. (Please see our other listing for pricing information on renting the whole duplex)
Home access
Look for the big white house on your left after the Sapinière bridge. Make a left and you will find our parking lot. L'ÉTAGE is on the top floor.
You'll enjoy the heated pool in summer and hot-tub (year round). We also have a bikes and sleds.
You will also have access to 2 free passes to the Regional Park where you can enjoy different sports and activities depending on the season (walking, biking, rock climbing, bird watching, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and more.) Bring your own equipment or rent it at the Regional park which is next door.
Summer
In summer swim in the shared pool, relax in your private hot tub, explore the Regional Park (hiking, biking, rock climbing), and don't forget the little village of Val-David (ice cream, restaurants, market, grocery, etc) which is just a 5 minute walk.
Winter
In winter our chalets are X country ski in, ski out! Over 160km of groomed cross-country ski trails, 30km of snowshoeing trails (dogs welcome!), 2 sledding runs, 3 skating rinks and the cute little village of Val-David...all just steps from our chalets. Downhill skiing is just 2km away.

Minimum stay of 2 nights, 3 nights for holiday weekends.
All linens and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own items for outings to the beach to avoid loss and damages.
Use the « hot tub towels » fit that activity.
Our kitchens are fully equipped so you only need to plan for your food. If you don't feel like packing everything in your cooler, there is a great grocery store (Metro Dufresne) minutes away where you can stock up on what you need. There are also many fantastic restaurants, café's and bars for you to discover in Val-David. Be sure to check out our guidebook!
Birds eye view
Val-David is a quaint little artists village that is perfectly located 80km north of Montréal, 120km east of Ottawa and 46km south of Mont-Tremblant. Our chalets are ideally located between a stream, a 500 hectare forested regional park, a famous bike/ski path and the heart of Val-David.
In fact, everything you need is within walking distance in Val-David: Grocery Store, health food store, ATM, restaurants, bars, cafés, boutiques, an art gallery park, mountains, lake, bike path and more. There is a lot to see and do in Val-David, year round.
Our beautiful village is a hub for great art and music festivals and our farmers market is renowned as one of the best open air market in Quebec. (every Saturday from May 28th to October 8th from 9-1pm and a few other special dates throughout the year.)
Travelling around
Although there is no public transportation in the heart of the village, you can get to Val-David by bus from Montreal. (See Autobus Galland for scheduling and pricing details.) The bus stop, at the village entrance, is about 1km away from our chalets. Some of our guests choose to walk, others plan for a taxi (taxi Val-David) to bring them the rest of the way.
