In a Few Words

This cottage was restored to provide all the comfort and amenities of a modern-day cabin. With beautiful windows to enjoy the view of the lake, the cottage has a roomy feel and can easily accommodate 4-6 persons. It's deck is quiet and allows you to enjoy the remoteness of the surroundings. The fire pit is just a few steps away for those cozy summer evenings roasting marshmallows and hotdogs.

Hello! We’re Ron (Canadian-South African) & Felicitas (Canadian-German), your hosts, and we’re thrilled to welcome you to our property. With a deep love for hospitality and a passion for creating comfortable, memorable stays, we take pride in offering a home-away-from-home experience for our guests.

Having traveled and lived in various parts of the world, we understand the importance of a well-prepared, cozy space that allows you to relax and enjoy your time away. Whether you’re here to unwind, explore the great outdoors, or escape the everyday hustle, we’re here to ensure your stay is exceptional.

Our property is located in the beautiful Abitibi-Temiscamingue Region, offering lakefront views, great fishing, awesome beach and swimming opportunities, proximity to trails, a peaceful retreat, and more. We’ve designed it with comfort in mind, providing all the essentials and extra touches to make your visit special.

We have this year introduced 'Le Petit Pantry' for those essential items you may have left at home, or forgotten, which you will need; butter, eggs, preserves, jams, etc.), plus a variety of seasonal veggies/fruits. In addition, we offer a wide selection of home-made goods (pasta/pies sweet&savoury/bread, etc.) and some local artisanal items. All is at your access 24/7 on an honour basis.

We're just a message away if you have any questions during your stay. We look forward to hosting you and making your visit unforgettable!

Home access

This cottage also has it's lake access and the guests are invited to stroll along the beach. Behind the cottage, the large open lawn space allows the guests to play outdoor games, or take a walk along the roadway.

Host availability

We are always present on the property and available to chat or ask questions anytime between 8am to 8pm, or simply message, and a reply will come within a few minutes.

Other things to know

Our animals (all very sociable) free-range, meaning our dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl.

The guests are responsible for their own furry friends and for ensuring that our animals are not harmed; in other words, they must be leashed.
